This is a 12oz. can poured into a 20oz. weizen glass. There is a huge four finger head of foam that slowly receded to a thick quarter inch layer and lots of of thick lacing clinging to the side of the glass.. This Pils is a straw color and quite hazy, the carbonation is classic, giving a nice show parading to the top.
The aroma is light, with just a hint of yeast and light malt scents.
The flavor follows the nose, yeast, fresh white bread, and not much for hops. The bitterness is very low but there is enough to cut the sweetness very nice.
The feel is medium, silky smooth, yet light enough that these would be very easy to session.
This is an easy one to drink and true to the style. I hope they bring this one back next season, because I will be looking for more.
