Formerly "Flying Damsel".
Love Rock is a Vienna Style Lager. This type of lager beer has a subtle malt sweetness, balanced by the earthy tones of noble German Hallertauer hops.

Another amber colored beer. Produces a 1/2" off white head. Decent looking beer. There was nothing about "love rock" on my can (December 2017 consumption). The aroma doesn't have the smooth fall caramel leaves not I was hoping for, instead there are lager yeast aroma and a light metallic bitterness.
Taste is too strong in terms of bitterness and yeast. Was hoping to go in a smooth, easy flow direction in the taste and mouthfeel, but the beer had other thoughts in mind. Way too phenolic. Disappointing that the big brewery (Miller) in town literally makes a few lagers better than this. Craft and local ain't always better. Just wasn't smooth.
The ale house was where I had my first beer in Milwaukee, and while I'd never tell people it was a must have, it was at least respectable stuff. This here is kind of above an 'avoid' but still far from a 'recommend'.

Pours deep golden yellow with a thin white head. Some dotted lacing sticks.
The smell is of buttered popcorn with some grain.
The taste is of buttered grain - sweet with just a touch of noble hop bittering balance in the finish.
It is somewhat crisp, fairly dry that lasts a bit. It is a bit slick.
I don't care much for the buttery character of this one. It's not undrinkable though.
