Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy blonde color ale with a huge foamy head with better then average retention. Aroma of sour notes is quite intense and smile like it is infected (and with the head it had once poured I really suspect it might be infected). Taste is really dominated by the sour notes and the wheat which can of balance each other. The tart and sourness leaves me wondering if the beer was infected voluntarily or not. In any case this is probably not something that I will seek again.

Another incredible foaming monster from this brewer. Dark amber body after that. Quite drinkable, though less than average for this style. Sweet and very yeasty. A little mollasses and spice. Aggressive carbonation, More strange brew from this brewery.

Came in a 660 ml brown bottle, the label says Kamour Double, and the listed abv is 7%. Interesting label, a unisexual individual hitting on a bagpiper, done in a stained glass style on the backdrop of a piece of parchment.
And the beer looks good too. Deep cloudy gold with lots of carbonation, large white head with good retention. Light grain and citrus on the nose, accompanied by some pepper, very effervescent overall. Am not sure if this didn't travel well when 3Vandoo brought a bottle out for me to try recently. Light grain and malt can be tasted up front, supported by the presence of the alcohol content, it gets spicier towards the middle with coriander and pepper, some citrus and orange peel, with a real spicy finish, but not much weight towards the end, the flavour seems to dissipate. Quite weak and bland at moments. The mouthfeel is also effervescent, but lacks any real weight or presence on the palate at times, the zing of the spices reminds you of what you are actually drinking. Seems a bit watered down overall, but what's there seems to have potential. I'll chalk it up to bruising from travel. Still, a tip of the stetson to 3Vandoo for the bottle, it'll give me something to look out for when I make it to Quebec.

May I be the first, and hopefully not the last to review this fine beer. Found this in the local market while in Quebec. 660ml bottle. Pours a crystal golden hue of perfect beerness. Large soft 2" head rises nicely up the tulip glass and then recedes in to a thin sheet of swirlie lace. To the nose this smells quite tripel like to me and that's a good thing. Very floral, slightly peppery, with a sweet background of honey. Sweet caramel and slight toffee are the first taste, followed by a mild acidic peppery wave. Fruity orange and a slight melon flavor round out the finish. Mouthfeel is solid without a lot of carbonation ruining it. I really think this would be even better n the cellar for another year. I will stock up when up north next year.
