From the bottle, it pours a lovely hazy red, very dark, with a moderate pink head. Smell is very sweet and fruity. Very fruity and sweet (with a slight sour in there as well) in the mouth as well. This may not be true to style, but it is enjoyable! Yum!

A: Lovely raspberry colour. When held up to light looks a thick cherry colour. Moderate head quickly subsides. 4
S: Unmistakable raspberry smell tempered with "burnt tyre" smell which also resembles pencil shavings or a used rubber (eraser in America), or general pencil case smells. Surprisingly enough these notes aren't unpleasant. They kind of compliment and mingle with the rich raspberry smell. Admittedly the kind of one note smell loses its appeal after a while. 3
T: very sweet, a bit sour, raspberry-ey 2.5
M: when considering the mouthfeel the sweetness kind of overwhelms the texture. 1.5
D: low. 1.5. I'm finding it really difficult to finish off this bottle. It's just too sweet. It's also only 2.5%.
I have to agree with the previous reviewer who wondered whether this was genuinely beer or just fruit juice. Definitely don't try to drink a whole bottle all by yourself, it's just too strong (in flavour/sweetness, not in alcohol obviously). I honestly wouldn't buy this again, and am not sure whether I'd be game to try even the 4% version with this one's overwhelming sweetness.

32.5 cl bottle with a very bad ass looking skull on it. Awesome bottle, seriously! Pours an exceptional dark pink-purple. Its head is thick, luscious, frothy and bright pink. The front of the taste is extremely tart geuze, the finish is killer sweet and rich with raspberries and mulberries. The smell is a heavenly berry medley with a slight tartness. This is very good. I wish it was available in place of the regular Lindemans Frambosse although at 2.5%, is this really beer or just fruit juice?
