Blend of lambic with top-fermented Belgian strong ale. Lindemans d'Or is a golden blond beauty crafted with mango, melon, and lime, topped with a brilliant white head. The tropical aroma hints at ripe mango, lychee, and pineapple, balanced with a touch of pear. The taste is juicy and round, blending sweet and sour with a smooth finish that invites another sip.

Look: It pours deep amber with an off white head. It has below average head retention.
Smell: Strong fruity aromas featuring mango up front. The melon is the next strongest and in more honeydew and cantaloupe. Finally, there are some lime notes.
Taste: It is quite fruity and sweet with low sourness. The mango is the strong with the lime and melon being a bit more balanced in the background.
Feel: The finish is more sour than sweet unlike the initial flavor. It has a medium body.
Overall, It is quite fruity and tasty.

Poured from a bottle into a Teku glass. Cloyingly sweet, like a Pedro Ximenez sherry. Rotten mango is front and center, along with a strong cardboard malt flavor. Not very pleasant. I did drink the entire 8.4 oz bottle but was left with a sick feeling in my stomach. Not recommended at all, in case there was any doubt. The idea of calling this a "Fruit Lambic" is simply an abomination.
The only good thing is that I picked this up as part of a mix-6. Unfortunately I picked up TWO bottles so now I'll have to find someone to "gift" the second bottle.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a short-lived 1/2F head.
Smells and tastes of mango and lime with a lightly salty and sweet, alcohol warm finish.
Medium light body with medium carbonation. Crisp, dry mouthfeel.
This is a sweet / salty, complex dessert sipper. Glad I picked it from the herd of "make your own sixpack " beers

Bottled on: L:GK22XTO* (whatever that equates to)
A - Medium golden yellow pour with a thin layer of bright white creamy head and vibrant, moderate carbonation.
S - Big juicy aroma consisting of tropical fruit, lime, melon, mango all with a juicy twang.
T - Follows the nose tropical fruit, mango, melon, and lime and ends on the sweeter juicy side with some initial light puckering twang.
M - Big medium body with prickly carbonation that gives way to a soft finish with some lightly tart, puckering quality leaving the mouth wet initially and then eventually dry.
O - Pretty perfect for a hot day with a deceptive ABV that's completely hidden.

Poured from a bottle into a chalice
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden yellow color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast, leaving a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell -The aroma is massive of an apricot, mango, pineapple, and melon smell. Mixed with these notes comes some lime and a bit of lemon as well as notes of sugar candy and a bit of must and funk.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice mix of sweet and light tartness. The sweet is heavy of a mango and pineapple flavor with notes of melon and apricot. The sour is a of a green apple and lemon sourness with a bit of lime. As the taste advances some light maltiness shows up, all while the sourness increases along with the sweet decreasing ever so slightly. A little bit of hay and must come on at the end, and with notes of spice, one is left with a sweet and lightly soured fruity taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is moderate with a higher fizzy carbonation level, both of which suit the flavors and the sourness quite well.
Overall – A rather nice lambic. Very fruity with a high sweetness and very approachable nature.

From the small bottle, it pours a clear golden color iwth a modest white head that slowly diminishes. The nose gets fruity scents, possibly mango. The mouth gets mango flavors and a bit of malt.

Quite drinkable and pleasant. A lambic blended with a golden strong ale.
Appearance - Clear golden color with substantial carbonization.
Aroma - Mango and other tropical fruit smells are very pronounced.
Taste - The tropical fruits smell carries over to the taste with ample carbonation present.
Mouthfeel - Light.
Overall - I like Belgian beers more than the average beer drinker and this one is excellent! Seek it out!

This one has a foggy gold to amber appearance, with columns of micro carbonation streaming up the sides of the B-United teku glass. A thin white head of fine bubbles quickly settles to a ring and a veil.
The mango and lime are obvious in the aroma, as is a mild tartness. Over ripe cantaloupe comes into focus after several minutes.
This one is very tart, with sweetness in tow. Lime dominates, with mango quickly following and competing for preeminence. The tartness doubles back in the finish, where the lime puts an end to the mango. The finish becomes dry with time.
A thin body and the texture of Jersey cotton. Fine carbonation is highly effervescent. Alcohol is as expected.
This is the second of two new beers by Lindeman's. It is a pleasant aperitif and would probably fare well with an appetizer of scallops or a snack with Camembert on a warm summer evening.
