While I had the Whiskey Vanilla Porter my wife had this douzy. Poured an auburn color with a fizzy quick dissolving white heading. Really turned to a water looking beer.
Hot damn that smells like pumpkin pie. Nutmeg hit's you a mile a minute, some clove and ginger, and some other spices.
Taste is very much the same as the nose, nutmeg,ginger,etc. Just had a slight homebrew quality aftertaste to it. Slight diacetyl.
Mouth is a bit watery,medium bodied really no backbone all of the carbonation dissappears after the first minute of sipping this.
Drink is good I could have some of these and maybe a nice beer to have around after Thanksgiving.
