Filtered clear straw golden pour with a thin cap.

Sweet citrousy orange greets lemons.

First swigs: Dry slightly lemony flavors become reminiscent of delicate ESB bitter and pilsner-esque at the same time.

Mouthfeel is light to medium with some cushy carbonation.

Last swigs: Quite the dust cutter easy drinker. Growlers of this would evaporate in my backyard. Bitter meets Pilsner criss cross. A Summer Wheat that is more Summer than Wheat.

Beer is good. Happy local beering.

Pale yellow color with very little head that goes down to no lacing. Not picking up much smell. I'm getting typical wheat/weizen tastes. But this beer has been filtered too much. Maybe that's according to style, but it shouldn't be. The beer is clear. But it should be cloudy with wonderful wheat yeasties stickign around.

Enough taste to make it drinkable. If I may borrow a note from blitheringidiot...emphasis of this beer should be on summer and not wheat. Inoffensive and solid, but not about to light your world on fire.

This tasty American wheat displays a crystal clear yellow-gold body capped by a frothy head of bright white foam. The head drops shortly to a thin collar, but also leaves some spotty lace about the glass. The nose is restrained, but offers some inviting, lightly sweet and mildly wheatish malt. It's light/medium body is backed by a very fine and somewhat effervescent carbonation that leaves it crisp on the tongue, and lends to its refreshing character. It's initially sweet, delivering a grainy/honeyish malt that only displays a bit of wheat flavor and a gentle background tang; but it's 10 IBU's of bitterness balance it quite nicely. The hops must have been added at the beginning of the boil because there are no recognizable hop flavors in the mouth or in the short, dry finish. Quite a quaffable and refreshing brew when sitting on McKenzie's back deck during the summer heat; although it doesn't possess quite enough character to keep coming back to again and again. Fortunately, there are quite a few other excellent beers on tap to round out your dining experience. Well done!
