How is it that my review of this beer is gone? I freakin' added it!!!!

Anyway, it's basically a knock off of Anchor Steam with a little more maltiness to it. The yeastiness is still there, but I'm not so sure Scott used the Christian Schmidt strain that Anchor does. Regardless, it's actually a much nicer, rounder ale-slash-lager than you get on the west coast! Worth trying!!!

Served as part of a sampler tray at their brewery. Poured out a bright and clear golden color. This beer claims to be hopped three times with Northern Brewer hops and itÂ’s apparent in this brew. Small graininess with some light citrus tones in the aroma. Also some floral in there, too. This is very hoppy and it gives the beer a tang of lemon in the finish. Assertive and flavorful. Very good.
