First had: on tap at McKenzie Brew House, Malvern, PA
A pretty average American IPA with not much to write home about. Poured a clear golden with a small white head that didn't linger too long. Faint aroma of citrus and light malts. More of the same in the taste, with sweet malts and orange zest; not extremely flavorful. Light mouthfeel with some bitter aftertaste, and fairly drinkable, but nothing special.

On-Tap at the source, last Saturday. A lovely bright orange/red coloured brew with an intense, yet short lived head of white foam. The aroma of this brew is quite interesting, but perhaps this is because this particular ipa is brewed with a hop that I am not familiar with. The aroma is sweet for an IPA, with some nice biscuity notes, and a sort of candy-coated hop aroma as well. I also get some hints of citrus in the mix as well. The taste of this IPA is also very unique. This one is sweet up front, with a boat-load of these strange hops in the middle, and a nice lightly sweet citrusy hop finish. The mouthfeel is to style and medium bodied and the drinkability is very good. This is a sweet, candy-like IPA, that could almost serve me well as a dessert beer! Truly unique.
