According to the menu it has an original gravity of 12.5? Plato and 38 IBU's. It delivers a dark copper colored body with a short head of creamy white foam. The head holds well, and leaves very nice sheets of lace that are made up of thin, crinkly rings and swaths of tiny spots.
The aroma is of a clean, rich malt and light fruitiness with some hops.
A medium body combines with a zesty carbonation to give it a little bit of spritz in the mouth.
The flavor starts with a caramelish malt that turns quickly to reveal hop character. It reveals its crisp bitterness as it crosses the palate, and the finish is dry and lasting with some residual malt and a smear of Northern Brewer hops.
