Amber brew with a shot of white head. Decent lacing. Delicate nose of both citrusy hops and sweet malts.
Bready brew with a finishing hit of Cascades. Citrus is light on the tongue, finishing pretty crisp. Came off as being pretty sessionable.
Overall: Decent Sierra Nevada clone that is the highlight of their usual lineup.

On tap at McKenzie Malvern on 3/1/08.
A - Clear pale golden body with short, bubbly white head and plenty of active carbonation. Head quickly disappeared but left a bit of lacing around the glass.
S - Mild biscuity malt aroma paired with some citrus hops. Pretty standard pale ale nose.
T - Toasted bready/biscuity maltiness and a very grainy taste. Hops are primarily citrus, but only mildly pronounced. Has a slight burnt taste in the finish, just like the Hommel Bier.
M - Light to medium body with watery texture and lively carbonation resulting in lots of tongue prickle. Pretty crisp finish with a slightly burnt maltiness and citrus hop bite.
D - Decent pale ale that's worth a try if you're there. Pretty middle-of-the-road, actually.

Typical American pale ale based on the footprint left by Sierra Nevada. Good attempt though! It delivers a glowing auburn robe with golden-amber highlights beneath a thin head of white that dissipates shortly. Some nice lace. Bright notes of citrusy and floral hops greet you in the nose. A lightly caramelish and slightly biscuity malt makes up of the basis of the flavor, and citrusy Cascade hops give it life. It finishes dry with a short note of sweet malt and citrusy hops that pass, leaving behind some pine. Average.

Appearance: orange in color with a 1" head that slowly fell to a spotted surface foam. Spotty lacing developed on the glass.
Smell: floral hops are easily detectable.
Taste: nice mild malt level, orange citrus, floral bitterness, and a bit of caramel candy sweetness. Straight forward APA here.
Mouthfeel: crisp from start to finish. Medium bodied. Very short aftertaste with the flavors lingering for a second or two.
Drinkability: can't get any better than this - a tasty brew that can be quaffed all day long without getting bored.

This beer, when held to the light, looked like pale gold with a mossy green tint to it. On the table, it was a much more subdued amber color. The head consisted of a thin even film that was sustained by lots of little bubbles floating up from the bottom.
Smelled of sweet and floral hops with nectarines, pineapple and pine. There was a light honey and hazelnut smooth sweetness in the background as well.
Tasted of lemon and grapefruit rind hops but it is wonderfully balanced with a touch of honey, marshmallow and caramel. Good balance here!
The mouth feel was light to medium bodied with a foamy, tiny bubble carbonation.
Nice beer. I could see myself drinking a few of these. The balance of flavors really steals the show here. Sort of reminds me of Hop Devil in a way too.
