The '08 version on tap at Earth Bread + Brewery...
Appears a hazy light amber with an orange hue and a small white cap that fades into a heavy collar and film.
Smell is of toasted nuts, caramel, creme brûlée, some plastic phenols, and earthy minerals.
Taste is of the aromas with a mild fruitiness pulling through. This is seriously addictive stuff.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, hints of spice, gentle bitterness, leading to a semi dryness.

A: Nice brownish-orange with one finger head and moderate lacing and retension.
S: Bread, honey, and some earth and stone hints.
T: Dread, honey, white pepper, coriander, a slight yeasty funk, and a warming and inviting alcohol finish.
M: Creamy and light with a crisp alcohol induced finish.
D: This is light bodies and easy to drink despite the alcohol presence. I think that the sweetness, yeasty spiciness, and alcohol all compliment each other very well. A nice afternoon, winter sipper.
