Had on tap today at the brewpub in Glen Mills.
a - Pours a murky brown-amber color with one inch of off white head and moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells of nuts, roasted malts, toffee, toasted malts, and light burnt malts.
t - Tastes of roasted malts, toffeee, caramel malts, toasted and burnt malts, and very light fruit.
m - Medium body and low carbonation, very smooth and easy to drink.
o - Overall a decent beer, but seemed a little bit like a brown ale. Worth checking out once but not something I'd seek out again.

From notes taken during the Oktoberfest Beer Dinner...
Appears a transparent dark amber with a small, off white cap that slowly fades away into a gentle head of foam. Scattered streaks of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of malty bread, cracked grains, toffee, sourdough, and hints of black pepper that was added to this particular batch.
Taste is of the mentioned aromas with a tiny bit of spicing that is a traditional beer with a twist.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, spritzy, and semi-dry in the swallow with the sweet toffee and nut flavors fading out into the spiced black pepper.
