Put your nose in the clouds and drink the beer like a French vintage wine. Pour it into wine glasses and start with it refrigerator cold, sip it every 10 minutes until you like it. Now you know exactly what temperature YOU should drink it at.

Copenhagen 3/8 2020. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Søtorvet, Silkeborg. Bøllingsø Brewery’s usual design with the two intertwined B's in blue and black.
Pours murky maroon with a red hue. Small off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a strong, sugary sweet odor and a solid whiff of booze. Caramel, white sugar. A bit candy-like. Sourish grains. A bit of boozy liqueur.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate sourness. Aftertaste is sweet - almost sugary - and lingers for a while. Finish has a light boozy burn.
Powerful sweet and boozy Barley wine which does exactly what it is supposed to (including keeping me warm).
