Guess I'm the first to review this "East Coast Ale" brewed by Garrison for the Blowers and Grafton restaurant chain. From a 355 mL can, it pours very yellow, slightly paler than apple juice, with a two finger head that dissipates within two minutes, and nearly transparent. First thing on the nose is sweet-ish corn, and some cereal grain malt. I don't get much else aroma wise. The flavour likewise begins with cereal grain malt and semi-sweet corn, which I don't usually like in a beer but in this case is somehow actually quite inviting. I'm also not saying there is or isn't corn in this beer - I don't know that either way - I'm just saying the malt profile reminds me of that flavour. The moderately interesting finish brings some indistinct orchard fruit, like apple or pear, and no hops character that I can detect. It slips down very easily, its body just on the light side of middleweight, with very unibtrusive carbonation. If this was on draught for cheap I could easily drink several pints. Overall, it's a decent beer. A touch of hops bitterness would make it more interesting, but I assume they're going for drinkabikity, and this is probably meant to compete with the popular macro lagers. In that regard, it's okay, definitely not any worse than Canadian or Bud.
