Bottle: Poured a light amber color le with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of light citrusy hops with some subtle tropical fruits and a semi-sweet caramel malt backbone. Taste is also dominated by a mxi of citrusy and tropical fruits notes with a caramel malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but fell a bit short on the tropical fruit hoppy notes.

#2 - Citra

Bought a 6-pack of this a few months back, but the beers still tastes pretty fresh and clean, though admittedly not as good as it once was.

A - pours a golden, orangey amber colour with a great half-finger of head that sits on top throughout.

S - huge citrusy hops from the citra, to be expected, but just so pleasant, some floral notes. The cups from my dishwasher are kind of rank though, oops.

T - sweet hops giving way to great bitterness quickly. nice grapefruit flavours and the bitterness is very strong on the backend.

M - medium body, decent carbonation.

Overall this is a great IPA by Garrison, probably one of the best IPA's in all the maritimes. Admittedly better when fresh (ie. should have reviewed this earlier), but still very good a few months off the shelf. I'd love to try this on tap if ever given the chance, I imagine I would then give it an even higher rating.
