Pours medium brown colour,about 3/8 inch of head, and a little lace follows the glass. Aroma is roasty with some spice and rich malting. Medium mouthfeel, carbonation is right there. Taste is of a richer malt, some sugar, rope, slightly astringent soap, a little roasted malt. A quarter pint is more than enough. A bit of burning astringent aftertaste.
