Bottle shared by Sammy, 2010 vintage. Into a tulip.
Pours a super cloudy almost 'egg yolk'-like yellow, with some golden brown highlights throughout. Nose has some overripe pear, wheat notes, dry alcohol, some peppery spicing and a general mustiness that I can't quite grasp. Taste hits hard with some alcohol and an intense nose-tingling peppery spice. Some dry fruits and grain-y bread. Some very mild vanilla character and green apple skins. Mouthfeel is dominated by alcohol notes, dry yeasty finish. Quite nice, if potent.

Sammy's bottle
Hazy orange colour, white head with some lace left behind. Smell is yeasty, spicy notes, clove, some citrus and alcohol. Taste is quite yeasty with a light hop profile, spicy notes come back, alcohol is more present in the taste and feels quite high. High carbonation, med-full body, good feel overall, fairly good for style. Pretty good overall but fairly boozy, still fairly enjoyable though.

Bottle from brewery in last Fall trip. Very boozy. Cloudy yellow body and very lacey. Orange, spicy, pepper, super-saison. Entire drinking experience is in strong alcohol, so that is felt in the aroma, the the taste, the finish on the lips, like rubbing alcohol at the gym.
