Pours a one finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Crystal clear, dark amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Bready malt nose and flavor is sweet bready malt, some hops. In $9.99 6-pak Shaw's Supermarket Concord, NH.

12 oz bottle. Pours light amber with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head. Aroma is of bready malt, some hops and pears. Body is medium and smooth. Herbal hops, pale malt and ripe fill the mouth. Finish is long and peppery. Quite an ordinary brew.

12 oz bottle into a lager glass.

Clear, light copper body with a thin but fairly durable off-white head that leaves ample lacing.

The aroma is mild, and more malty than hoppy.
Flavor: surprisingly flavorful. this is loaded with sweet malts upfront, but a good bit of bittering herbal hops kicks in shortly. Aftertaste seems disproportionally bitter -- given the initial flavor for style -- but this gives the beer an interesting dynamic.

Poured aggressively into a pint glass, this beer pours a clear golden color, with a thick, frothy off-white head that leaves generous lacing.

The aroma smells of the biscuits one might get from Red Lobster: buttery baked biscuits with a touch of garlic. A hint of some kind of fall seasonal pumpkin spice(?), probably from the hops. A very mild aroma, but a beautiful one at that.

The flavor: clean water; lightly toasted biscuity malt; a touch of earthy/grassy hops. A mild yet delicious flavor profile.

Mouthfeel/finish: heavy side of light but not medium; crisp, refreshing, easy, bitter finish.

Great for the style. But I'm not a big pale ale fan.

A pretty sweet tasting beer. Lots of caramel, toffee, (light) butterscotch. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Classic English ale aroma of toast, overripe apple, must. Not bad, but just too sweet. Needs more hopping to cut that back.

Aroma is mint, malts and fruit. The flavor is mint, fruit, malts, mild sweetness and a lightly bitter/tart finish. Decent enough but something was off about it.
