A - Solid black body, minimal head and lacing, just a few tiny tan bubbles.
S - Strong, strong alcohol over a core of dark fruit and chocolate notes from the malts.
T - Follows the nose in the open, with raisin and plum mixing with chocolate and dark brown bread, sharp acidic and moderately bitter bite in the finish.
M - Moderate weight, reasonably dry finish. All told, pretty clean.
O - A good example of a traditional RIS, with big fruit. Strong and pungent, but not particularly nuanced.
