Sampled at the CAMRA Paisley Beer Festival, April 16.
Pours a rusty brown with a bubbly qhite head with some lacing on the glass. Strong citrusy hop character in the nose. Grapefruit dominates the taste with some malt in the background. Not terribly complex but pleasant enough. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel feel from the cask-conditioning. A nice hoppy pale ale. A pleasant change from the usual malt-laden Scottish styles. Not terribly exciting though but it would make a nice session beer.
