I tried this in the Weatherspoons bar in Inverness, being a warm day I was looking for something lighter than usual to quench the thirst.
The beer poured a cloudy pale yellow colour, almost similar to dishwater. However the head was good and retained through the duration of the pint.
The nose was fresh with hops, grass, slightly herbal and citrus. These flavours continued through to the taste, however the citrus bite did become more dominant.
The light-medium mouthfeel was surprising, light and refreshing in colour, but had the body of a beer. I enjoyed this enough to stay for another. I would try this again especially on a hot day, it is a good alternative to shandy as I did not get a sickly feeling after the pint, which I find often accompanies a shandy.
