On cask at the Guilford Arms in Edinburgh.
A: Pours a reddish amber color. A small cap of white foam forms, and sticks around. Sheets of lace are left behind.
S: Sweet honey like aromas. Toffee and toasted malt. Citrus and floral hops linger for a nice balance.
T: Follows the nose. Sweet honey like up front. Toasted malt and sweet toffee. Citrus and floral hops with a strong lingering bitterness.
M/D: Light to medium body. Slightly under carbonated. Easy to drink. I can put a few away with no problem. Though there are other Caledonian beers I will reach for first.
This is enjoyable. Though this seems like more of a watered down version of Nectar. It is still worth a try if you see it on cask.
