Take a sip - crave a ham. Take a sip - crave a ham. This brew's "clove count" must be off the charts! Way too much clove flavor, it is rather disgusting.
Solar Flare is labeled as "light, tangy-sweet and smooth, with hints of citrus, banana, and clove... I did not taste much, if any, citrus or banana.
Its clovey flavor is strong even though the beer itself comes off light (watery). Its appearance is a pale straw color. Any smells are limited, but yes, you can smell cloves some fruit.
I would never drink one of these ever again. I would never recommend this to anyone either. I would try cooking with it though.
