12 oz. can, best by JULY 31, 2023. Another new one to me from this brewery out of Nebraska, acquired a can of this stuff as part of a mixed six pack at my local Binny's. My second beer from this brewery.
Poured to a Duvel tulip snifter.
A: Pours an opaque hazy juicy looking body, color is a bit darker than your traditiona NEIPA however, with hues of brown thrown in there. Small half finger of head remains as a skimming. Leaves lots of good sticky lacing.
S: Aroma turns things up a notch. Hugely fresh and aromatic with tons of fresh-squeezed citrus, notes of apricot, peach, mango puree. Smells very nice, for sure, I wouldn't be surprised if there was actual fruit in this somewhere. Slightly herbal & twiggy, beneath the fruit.
T: Taste follows, juicy, fruity, citrusy. Lots of authentic apricot / peach / mango fruit flavors on display here.
F: Smooth & juicy. Crisp, good carbonation, medium-bodied.
Overall, not your typical hazy by any means, but it passes the test. I guess Nebraska hasn't fully perfected the style yet.
