I was able to try the Special Kolsch during a recent visit to Roanoke. This beer was on tap at Awful Arthurs. The beer poured a pale yellow qith white head that actually laced slightly. There was a definite lemmony zing to both the smell and taste...common to most Kolsch's I have tried. The mouthfeel was good....lighter in body with decent carbonation. Overall I thought it was a good beer....probably better in to have in the summer months.
