Pale yellow/peach color. Persistant white head settles to a sticky thickish pale sheen on the glass. Fruity bitter orange taste then mellows to a richer peach/melon malt base. The finish turns nicely bitter again to make you want more. Very good rounded hoppy brew. Very drinkable. Medium very smooth mouth. Very, very good and worth another trip the "The standard tap". Wow...

This is the beer that slid Victory's Hop Devil Ale to one side of its pedistal to make room for this one to share it!! I still adore Victory's, and these guys just took a great style and made me love it all the more!! If you are ever in the area, and they are still brewing it, and you love IPAs, DO visit and then let me know what you thought!!

This beer pours into the glass an amber/deep gold color with some slight cloud. The head is a white/cream color. The aroma is of malt, caramel, hops and some spice. Was compared to a dark tea that was drank earlier in a way. The taste showed a molasses malt, hops, and spicy tea. Bitter and hops are at the end, but it is nice. Enjoyable.

Cloudy amber with a creamy (hey, it's on nitro, whatd'ya expect?) off white head.

A tea-like malty nose with hints of hop spiciness. The flavor continues in that way - the malt & hops combine for a tea-like, rounded, soapy-in-a-good-way (?) caramelly clean flavor leading to a drier, hop-spicier finish. Tastes almost like a cross between an English "pub ale" (think Tetley's) and a good, dry, spicy pils (think Jever). Creamy, unGodly smooth mouthfeel. A dangerously drinkable brew.

The "Initial Public Offering" was Fancy Pants' first beer, and one of their best. It has a very nice, deep golden amber color with good clarity. The head is off-white with limited retention. The hop aroma is fairly bold, backed by a light caramel maltiness. The mouthfeel is full bodied and creamy with a moderate carbonation level. The flavor expresses a caramel tinged maltiness and an exceptional tea-like hop flavor. The beer is quite bitter, but very well rounded, and does not seem harsh in any way; leading to a long lasting dry, hoppy finish. A really nice beer!
