Had this on tap at N3rd (northern liberties Phila.) Slight roast nut arome (Hazel nut). Big old thick tan head. Big roast malt flavor and mouth. Touch of nut shell on the tongue. Dry roast malt tongue. Smooth and easy drinkin'. This black and tan was bade by mixing their porter and lager. I was pleasantly suprised to have a black & tan with real character and taste. Usually they taste like lagers with a touch of stout. This had layers of flavor that satisfy yet the brew is quite drinkable and enabled me to have a few of them to enjoy without belly busting. Finely done by the "Fancy Pants" gang.
