Appearance: Dark orange glass holds a thin cover of tan foam the laces the glass.
Smell: Leafy hops, slight earthy note and some caramelized sugary base holding it all up.
Taste: Rich and sugary with a orange peel citric hop note. I've left this in the fridge for close to a year, I'm sure I'm past the prime on the hops but they are still tasty and very orange favored. The malt has aged out a bit and has a bit of leather and paper complexity.
Mouthfeel: Low carbonation, medium body, oily finish.
Overall: Nice beer! It has aged well but was probably better a few months back. Alcohol has a firm kick but is no where in the taste profile. Another winner from Freetail.

Not a great DIPA. Purchased directly at the brewery from their refrigerator, but I feel like it was probably too old to be sold.
