- On draft in a 12oz Imperial Pint style glass at the Freetail Brewing Co. Brewpub in San Antonio.
- Cloudy, amber in color. Roiling with carbonation and a thick, off-white head that is impressively persistent and sticky. Leaves an incredibly thick lacing down the entire glass. Wow - this is a great looking beer!
- Very light, sweet aroma.
- Nice, mildly sweet start with a light piney hint of hops eventually followed with a late trace of bitterness that ultimately confirms that it is indeed an IPA.
- Smooth mouthfeel with surprisingly mild carbonation.
Overall, a decent IPA. Name and hop profile would lead me to belive that it's a session IPA, but it's labeled as an American IPA. ??? An IPA I'd gladly drink again if someone else was buying, but probably not one I'd buy again.
