My first review of 2018, on New Year's Day no less. Starting the new year off right. I'm very familiar with Freetail beers, but hadn't seen this one before until a friend gave me a tall boy to take home and try.
Poured from a 16-oz can into a standard pint glass, this beer is a bright golden yellow color, with almost a tint of green chartreuse when held up to natural light. Pretty color. Little head and very little if any lace worth mentioning. The nose is quite nice; very fresh and aromatic with notes of pine and citrus and fresh cut grass. Hops right off the vine. The taste is fresh, with a nice bright hops character and a lemony citrus taste. A bit of buttery soap as well. Mouthfeel is firm. The overall experience here is really enhanced by the aroma.
I think the great aroma for this beer comes from the double dry-hop process (DDH) advertised on the can. This claims to be brewed and packaged by Freetail, but it says it's from Ghost Pixel Beer Studio, which is something I'll have to look into a bit more. I'd like to try more of these. Cheers, and here's to a good 2018.

16 oz can poured into nonic pint.
A: fluffy creamy white head settles slowly. Body is a slight hazy burnt orange.
S: slight tangerine, a little pineapple, a little malty.
T: lots of the tangerine are there with some maltiness. Not a very flavor full beer not bad either.
M: medium bodied a little cling.
O: It’s not bad, but not crazy either it’s just ok.
