From a can. Pours a golden orange color with a half inch of white foamy head. Smells of lemon. Medium body. Light malty base with some lemon, earthiness, and a bitter finish. A good IPA which doesn't feel like it's sacrificing anything to get the lower ABV.

Drinking this at The Elsewhere on The San Antonio Riverwalk
Poured from a tap into a plastic cup.
Looks slightly hazy, with a nice foamy White head that lasted.
Smells lightly bready, citrusy.
Taste follows the nose nicely.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a nice session IPA that I would definitely order again.
Cheers!

a very good session ipa, one of the better hoppy beers i have had from these guys over the last few days while checking out both of their locations. my brother adored this, and said it best that its so nice to have a session type beer that still just drinks like a beer, not watery or thin or dumbed down or conservative in any way, this is boldly hoppy and has plenty of texture from the grain too, its not minimal in any way other than its abv, and we both really appreciated that element. bright but not quite clear from the tap, frothy headed and pale yellow, aroma of sliced pineapple and heady weed, with a decidedly green leafy freshness to it, soft lemon citrus character, and a simple dry cereal grain base, massively appealing. i am surprised how bitter it is when i get into it, it really does back some ibus at the end, especially as it warms up a bit, unexpected to say the least, especially in a session type, nobody really does this, and it sets it apart. furthermore, the fruity hop character lingers nicely in the finish, its full flavored all the way through the swallow, green grape and meyer lemon notes at the end, a fresh kind of dankness too. fluffy feeling, dry, and really nicely carbonated, light but not watery, just hits the spot in every way. one of my favorites we have had from these guys so far!
