Pours out a dark amber/copper color topped off with a thick off white head that settles into a thin layer of dense bubbles with some nice lacing to accompany it.
The Aroma is sweet over all with hints of malts, caramel, and a slight woodiness that remind me of a brisk autumn morning.
Mild malts and caramel hit your first, followed by figs and plum with a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste.
Tis is a semi dry beer, light bodied but very well balanced overall.

Another winner from one of my favorite local brewers. The overall is of a very nice bock, but the taste is a bit bolder than typical. Very refreshing, leaving me wanting another. Good thing I got a sixer.

Enjoyed this beer with dinner on the River Walk. Lear reddish brown color with good initial head, little lacing. Very nice caramel smell and taste. Earthy bitterness. A bit thin on feel. I would say better than Shiner.

Draft at Crockett tavern
Pours a light fizzy smallish head lower retention, clear dark auburn mahogany color
Nose deep toasted malt, rich bread crust, little caramel, toffee, nutty, dark fruits, little biscuity,
Taste brings more toasted rich malts, biscuity, toffee, caramel, big toasted sweet bread crust, some dark fruits with plum fig date, light bitterness, semi dry finish
Mouth is med to fuller bod, lighter carb
