On tap at the brewpub during the most recent bottle release. This was one of five sours on tap. This is different that the other Solera beers, as it is aged in red wine barrels.
The beer pours a dark amber color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the toffee, tart cherries and red wine. The flavor is more of the same. There is a nice bit of funk with some tart cherries, grapes and toffee. I also get some nice oak notes and some red wine notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
