This is a blend of Yo Soy Un Berliner and Peche'cus...to of my favorite Freetail beers how could this not be awesome?
Poured into a sniffer after worrying about being able to get to try it all day. I can thank some fellow BAs for making me worry by texting me about how much Berlinercus they were drinking while I was stuck at work...I hate guys. Finally after waiting that seemed like forever I was able to try it. It poured a hazy golden yellow with hints of orange and a thin white head that quickly dissipated. The smell is straight up fresh peaches, lactic acid and a touch of toasted bread. You can smell the components of each beer. The first sip is much more sour then I would have expected. Sour peach, citrus, lactic acid, a touch of barnyard flavor and a bready finish round it out. Holy crap this beer is refreshing! I could easily drink it all day, maybe I can sneak in at night and steal a keg for myself I don't want to stop drinking it. High carbonation and a strong dry sour finish make it incredibly refreshing, perfect for a hot Texas summer afternoon. The only issue that I have is the ABV, I can't physically drink as many as I want even if I could because its a little high. Overall this is one of the best beers Freetail has produced, sadly its limited, get it while you can.
