Quite the schnazzy label we've got here.
Pours a foggy orange gold with a decent off-white head. Nose is like fruit that's been sitting out too long. Wow. Flavor is clearly smoked. This is like a rauchbier, yet Belgian in style. Defined meat tones and smoky as well. As I drink more of it, I see where it comes from on the nose. Besides everything else so far, there is a clear sweet edge with fruit tones as well. As time goes on the rauch qualities fade away and a sweet tone really sets in. Yet occasionally the rauch character hits me in the back of the mouth as an aftertaste ever so subtly. Feel is slick and smooth, yet a bit thick, on liquid. Carbonation is middle of the road. Well this was an interesting beer. I definitely suggest you try it if you have the chance.
