Cask. Light amber. Little to no head.
Earth and straw when smelt.
As per aroma. Somewhat medicinal in a good way.
Lightly carbonated. Light to medium body.
Haven't had this for over 45 years since a pilgrimage to what was to one of the last remaining brew pubs left in the UK. How times have changed.

12th May 2012 saw me on a pub crawl of Shrewsbury: First up was the ‘Castle Vaults’ and a hand pulled pint of this.
Golden body, bright and clean looking: small white head.
Nose of woody, earthy, nuttiness: with a hint of malty molasses.
More malts in the taste than the smell: easy blend of flavours, fruitier than the aroma too, with a semi-bitter finish.
I like Three Tuns brews in general and this is no exception.
