12th September 2012:two hand-pulled pint in The Cock Hotel, Wellington Shropshire.
Pale brown, light amber body with a thinning head of off-white bubbles. The brewery claim it is an 'Ultra Light Bitter' and it is in looks and flavours.
More malts than hops in the aroma and taste, but lacks flavour and strength throughout, had two pints because I was on a session and the beer was OK for a 3.6%ABV starter for the evening. Doubt I’ll be ever having a third pint though.
A Mr Average: which is a shame, because I like this breweries beers a more than this normally.
