Half-pint: hand-pulled on 26 Mar 2013 at a Shropshire Cask Festival in 'The Haygate' Wellington.
Dark, rich and very sweet. Looked fine, an almost black body with a good creamy head of tanned foam.
The aroma given off was of a sweet alcoholic fruit cake heavily laden with plums, the taste followed suit.
A bit too sweet, even for my palate: a nice night cap though after drinking pints of lighter and less alcoholic beers earlier in the session.
