Served in nonic pint at th Avenue Pub in NOLA.
Very dark brown to black with light tan head that dissipates pretty quickly.
Smell is sweet toasted malts with a heavy coffee presence. There is a light vanilla presence too.
Taste is sweet chocolatey malts with lots of nice coffee and mild bitterness. Hints of vanilla present too.
Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied with light carbonation.
Overall this was very good. Worth a try.
