Pours hazy, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is orange juice, pine, and pineapple. Juicy, slightly bitter, medium bodied, with moderate carbonation. Great juicy beer. One of the better NOLA ipas I have had.

On tap at Victor's in York PA. I was down in New Orleans many years ago and had a Jax or two, so my expectations weren't particularly high. Pours a cloudy straw color with a nice off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is a very juicy, sticky, flavorful DIPA with tons of mango, orange, and grapefruit, and hints of pine resin and caramel. Mouthfeel is fairly thick and sticky; carbonation is perfect. Finish is smooth and slightly bitter; invites the next sip. Just really enjoyable.
First beer from this brewery. Good first impression!

Pours a very cloudy golden yellow color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Nice juicy, citrus, tropical aroma with some piney overtones. Nice juicy taste with citrus, tropical fruits and a nice piney bitterness at the end. Somewhat dry aftertaste. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Not bad at all. Better than Island Remedy the last Nola. Not sure I would buy this again with so many choices in the market now, but I like how Nola is experimenting with the different hops in these IPAs and I'll probably keep buying these as they come out, or most of them with avg. to above avg. ratings. I like trying these new ones often rather than just 1 go to beer, but in Louisiana, Envie & Jucifer are still my favorite "cheap" IPAs that are essentially "go to" when there's nothing new which is rare these days, but for $1.75/single for those vs. $3.75/single for these Nola, I really want to say overall Envie, Voodoo, & Jucifer are a better choice, but I like the novelty and variety of trying these Nolas, but I'm not sure the Brew is better than those or worth it without the novelty effect. Go to keep life fresh and interesting though! They're never bad, usually average or just above, and sometimes but more rarely great and worth a whole 4pk.
