Pours a cloudy golden yellow. Thick, fluffy white head
Nose is berry, strawberry, pine
Taste is delicate strawberry, berries, pine. Not as hop forward as typical beers in style. A bit on the sweet side as well.
Lingering subtle strawberry.

First impression from a 16 fl oz can:

Hop profile is fine, but it emphasizes subtle berry/currant notes and grassiness...not exactly an IPA-leading hop flavour to be honest. This hop varietal would better belong in an IPL or Americanized/bastardized pilsner, not an IPA. Hops are too subtle for the style; they just picked the wrong hop varietal to dominate.

Pale malt sweetness is present.

Finishes on subtle hop-derived notes of strawberry and redcurrant.

Balanced and enjoyable but not as hop forward as the style demands (I mean, showcasing hop flavour is kind of the point of the style). $11.99 plus tax per 4-pack? No thanks.

12/20/19 can from the same 4 pack:

It drinks easy enough but the hop profile doesn't stand out. IPA is the most oversaturated style out there; you've really got to bring more to the table to hold a candle to the big dogs.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a thin foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is decent. Nice citrus and floral aroma. Somewhat juicy. Light on the taste. Kind of watered down. Not really that juicy. Citrus with very mild piney resin and a little bit of sweet candy at the end. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not a bad tasting beer by any means, but it doesn't live up to what a NEIPA should be.
