Collaboration with Akademia Brewing
This collab with Akademia Brewing Co takes the traditional Norwegian yeast strain which interacts with the citrusy hops to give this beer a fruity and complex flavor. Skal!

16 fl oz pull-tab nabbed as part of a 4-pack at a beer store in New Orleans, LA.
"India Pale Ale." 6.5% ABV.
Citrus, rind-like bitterness, yogurty tang. Pale malt/2-row.
Pretty basic, but drinkable for what it is. Unimpressive as an IPA brewed in 2020, and I don't think it showcases the strengths of kveik yeast particularly strongly.

Pours a very cloudy golden amber color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is very good and lacing is excellent. Earthy, yeasty aroma. Maybe some slight citrus. Nice smooth, yeasty taste. Mild citrus on the end. Very earthy. Medium bodied with mild to moderate carbonation.
