Freaky down to his toenails
A medium body imperial IPA with Zappa, Galaxy, and Nelson Sauvin hops. Passionfruit and grapefruit on the nose. Notes of fresh pineapple, grapefruit juice, and tropical fruit.

08/25/20 16 fl oz pull-tab can (best by date from bottom: 10/25/20):
"Imperial India Pale Ale with Zappa, Galaxy, & [sic] Nelson Sauvin Hops." 7.3% ABV.
Served cold into a shaker pint glass.
It's an underwhelming but drinkable IIPA with a decent hop profile. Fails to dazzle...I do get some Galaxy's passionfruit flavour but it largely wastes its Nelson hop varietals, failing to evoke white wine. I can't remember ever trying a beer with Zappa hops before, but this isn't interesting enough in flavour to make me seek out any more info on the hop. Hints of pineapple. Obvious tropical fruit leanings. Pale malt. Caramalt. Maybe crystal malt.
More tepid fare from NoLa Brewing...I think I'll stop buying their 4x16 fl oz format beers,. which have consistently disappointed and are priced higher for no apparent reason.
