16 fl oz can from an overpriced 4-pack:
"Oat India Pale Ale with Azacca, Strata & Ekuanot Hops." 6.9% ABV.
Served cold into a stemless wine glass.
Hop profile is a bit tired, with a vague tropical fruit emphasis buoyed by citrus acidity. Melon, passionfruit, strawberries (from the Strata methinks). Equinox imparts papaya, more melon, and vague currant. Juicy but lacking in terms of depth of hop flavour and adequate hop pungency. This sort of hop profile has been done a thousand times by other breweries - and better at that.
Has a ripe and juicy presence on the palate with slight overcarbonation that renders it a bit less refreshing than would be ideal. Medium-bodied, smooth, and wet.
Overpriced but pleasant and drinkable, which is sort of how I've come to view NoLa Brewing's entire lineup...
