Starts with an airy, bready aroma, ample carbonation, and gentle, almost fragile taste parameters inviting of hearty consumption. Bitterness is subdued, perhaps in keeping with a more traditional British style than pale ales more common to 21st century Pacific Northwest brewpubs. The minimalist hop component is a refreshing departure from the hop demons back in Portland.
Orangeade color with informal berry-like fruitiness and sensible balances. Not a hot rod, but a red wheel barrow that so much depends upon.
