On tap at the restaurant today.
Served in a mason jar, this beer is a very hazy orange amber with a dense, off-white head with good retention and decent lacing. The nose is decent. While it's a lot sweeter, breadier and maltier than I care for, this beer is very fresh and has a complementary hop bouquet. There's grapefruit and citrus is modest amounts, as well as a touch of fruit. The malt character is bready and sweet (Vienna? Munich malt?) rather than a caramel-like crystal malt character. That said, it does seem a little bit wort-like. The palate's similar, with the medium body carrying a soft, creamy sweetness and fruity hop character. Bitterness is low, and again, the sweetness is bready. Carbonation is low and creamy, making this feel like it might be served from a cask. Quite solid, though I wish I'd tried their Kolsch instead.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
