Not a big fan. Smells and looks pretty good but it tastes of bitter hay. More hoppy than I would expect from a pilsner. Maybe just not my thing.

Overall Driftwood have made a very drinkable Pilsner. As compared to a more traditional Pilsner this feels light and thin, not quite as much middle/body/weight. One of the plus points I'd highlight regarding this brew is that many Pilsner's brewed on the West Coast tend toward being hop-forward, this does not.
With it's sunny Golden hue Arcus is a little misleading, as its closer to a Pilsner than I expected.

650ml bottle - I didn't really even notice what was on the label until I read the marketing screed on the side - more old-school hunting porn.
This beer pours a clear, pale golden yellow colour, with a teeming tower of puffy, rocky, and chunky bone-white head, which leaves some random splattered and sudsy lace around the glass as it quickly recedes.
It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, burnt sulfur, white pepper dust, and some edgy leafy, grassy, and musky floral green hop bitters. The taste is bready and doughy pale malt, matchsticks, rainbow peppercorns, and more earthy, grassy, and dried hay-like hoppiness.
The carbonation is average in its palate-coddling frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, and generally smooth, just a touch of hoppy bitterness lounging around, looking for trouble where there is none. It finishes trending dry, and nicely crisp, with more than a touch of lingering hops.
Overall, this is certainly a well-made Pils, and I suppose that it does lean towards the German camp (that still sounds unsettling, eh?), with perhaps a hint of West Coast hop indulgence taking place here. Easy to drink, refreshing, and a pleasant enough brew for another sunny and warm Alberta summer day.
