Eye Candy: Poured a beautiful color, I would guess a darker garnett. Medium head which quickly vanished. The color alone piqued my curiousity.
The Nose Knows: Alcohol and chocolate mixed. Neither was overpowering, a perfect medium.
Tongueland: Interesting beer, to say the least. Able to taste the chocolate, detected a slight nuttiness. The alcohol really came out as this beer warmed, even so, it was warmingly pleasant and did not obscure the other flavors.

A very good job on this one from Pearl Street, pours a deep garnet with not much head to speak of.A very alcoholic aroma with some nice chocolate hints, taste is nutty and chocolaty with hints of anice with the alcohol very prevelant wich made it nice and warming.A good early spring beer for Buffalo it will cut right through the chill.
