"A hoppy amber lager" per chalkboard, poured a medium to deeper amber with a tight formed 1/2 finger head, lightly roasted malt and caramel intertwined with a hint of spicey hop not really giving off that "hoppy" amber lager profile in the nose.A smooth easy going down vienna lager style a decent spicy/herbal hop profile in the finish to go along with a faintly sweet lightly roasted prelude makes for a good drinking lager.A nice offering from Pearl Street a nice suprise.

This one was advertised on their board as an amber ale that is very hoppy. It poured a dark amber with a small white head. The smell had a nice hop aroma with some fruit notes. The taste was good, true to the form, the hops were balanced nicely and didn't drive the beer. It was sweet for having a good amount of hop flavor. It was smooth and easy to drink, the balance of flavor was what impressed me most. This was a medium light body, and easy to drink. I would recommend checking this one out.
